Saturday, June 26, 2010. A second piece in the stoneware slip series in a thick waterfall glaze. The waterfall glaze does accentuate this technique for sure. Honestly this bowl was a text of a thick stonemware slip I mixed up. I usually use a white porcelain slip to add texture, draw, and carve on. why not stoneware? The result was nice and wanting some of these pieces to have a rich dark clay body rather then white this solved my problem. Sunday, June 20, 2010.
